Co-Founder & Chair
The Rev’d Elizabeth Henderson, OBE is a co-founder of the charity. Trained in Mathematics, she is now the Minister of Richmond Craigmillar Church.

Jess co-founded the charity and was a bereaved parent.

Ali Allan
Director
Ali is a former police detective at Police Scotland, specialising in child protection. She is currently a student primary school teacher at Queen Margaret University. As a bereaved parent, her three children have accessed services at Richmond’s Hope.
Isabell Curran
Director
Isabell is a retired HR & Admin Manager and brings a comprehensive knowledge of HR to the board. She is also an elder and Session Clerk of Richmond Craigmillar Church
Neil Gardner
Director
The Rev’d Neil Gardner is Chaplain to Canongate Kirk, Edinburgh, Church of Holyroodhouse and Edinburgh Castle.
Tara Porr Granados
Director
Rev Tara serves as the minister of Ibrox Parish Church. She experienced childhood bereavement first hand which has placed this kind of work very close to her heart.
Christine Macleod
Director
Christine Macleod is retired and worked for the Children and Families Department of City of Edinburgh Council.
Sarah Macquaker
Director
Sarah has a MA in Management Studies from St. Andrews University and a Diploma in Export Marketing from Napier. Sarah is a bereaved parent and 2 of her 4 children have benefited from the services of Richmond’s Hope.
Carol Morwood
Director
Carol is a Head teacher at Hillwood Primary in Edinburgh. She also volunteers with Girlguiding and has held various roles across the organisation as well as leading a weekly Guide meeting
Isla Toner
Director
Isla graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a degree in Criminology. She is a Support and Advocacy Worker for Scottish Borders Rape Crisis Centre. Isla received bereavement support from Richmond’s Hope when she was a child.
Janette Wilson
Director
Janette Wilson is a retired lawyer who brings a comprehensive knowledge of charity law to the Board.
Our Patron, Eleanor Duchess of Argyll
Patron
Eleanor, the Duchess of Argyll, became our Patron in 2014. She has brought a wonderful enthusiasm for our work to the role.
