Board Members

Richmond’s Hope is seeking passionate, committed individuals to join our Board of Trustees.

We’re looking for new Trustees to help shape our future. Our Trustees offer their time, experience and networks for the benefit of the Charity. Our Board works closely with the CEO and the staff team. Full profiles of current Board members and staff can be found here. 

We actively encourage applications from under-represented groups including people of
colour, people with disabilities & LGBTQ+ individuals. We are keen to hear from people with lived experience of bereavement.

We are particularly interested in applications from people with experience and skills in the
following areas:

  • Previous experience of acting as a trustee
  • PR/Marketing/Digital

Part-Time Therapeutic Grief Practitioner (Salary £26,431 pro-rata)

Are you passionate about supporting bereaved children and families? We are looking for a Therapeutic Grief Practitioner to join our Edinburgh team on a 20-hour per week fixed-term contract. In this role, you’ll provide compassionate, professional therapeutic support to individuals and families navigating grief.

The successful candidate for this position should have experience of working in childcare, education, health, playwork or another relevant discipline.

Richmond’s Hope will provide a comprehensive induction and training programme which will include training in the methodology of Richmond’s Hope. Working as part of the staff team of Richmond’s Hope at our Edinburgh base at Norton Park Business & Conference Centre, you will provide bereavement support to children and young people aged 4 to 18 years. Applicants should have enthusiasm and vision for the work of the organisation, excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team.
