The Memory Box

Has a parent or loved one died?

  • Has someone died?
  • Has there been a big change in your life?
  • Need someone to listen to you?
  • Need someone to talk to?

Do you ever have any of these feelings?

  • Can't tell my Mum, it will make her cry;
  • No one understands;
  • I feel so alone.

At Richmond's Hope we can listen, at Richmond's Hope you can have someone to talk too.

Here are some comments from children who have come to Richmond's Hope:

  • It's very good;
  • It can be fun;
  • You can work on your feelings.

These are some things that you can do at Richmond's Hope

You can decorate your own memory box and fill it with pictures, letters, photos (or anything you like!), which will help you remember the person who has died.

Make a Memory Jar with lots of colours. Each colour can help you remember something about the person in your life who has died.
